Abstract

The premise of this study is the importance of expert evidence in the social security procedural relationship in the Federal Court as a means of demonstrating the social rights of the beneficiaries. At the same time as looking at the probative value of the expert report prepared by the court's expert, it seeks to reinforce the need to value the opinion of the parties' technical assistant. The expected contribution of this approach is the construction of a collaborative procedural relationship between the parties, valuing the dialogue between the technical professionals who seek to shed light on the issues submitted to the magistrate.

Augusto Grieco Sant’Anna Meirinho, Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, PUC/SP, Brasil.

Possui graduação em Direito pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - UERJ (1999), graduação em Ciências Náuticas pelo Centro de Instrução Almirante Graça Aranha (1990), especialista em Direito e Processo do Trabalho pela Universidade de São Paulo - USP (2009), mestrado em Direito Previdenciário pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2007) e Doutorado pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo em Direito (2017). Ex-Procurador Federal da Advocacia-Geral da União, atualmente é Procurador do Trabalho do Ministério Público da União. Professor de direito previdenciário visitante da Escola Paulista de Direito (EPD). Tem experiência na área de Direito, com ênfase em Direito do Trabalho e Direito Previdenciário. Foi oficial da Marinha Mercante e professor da Escola de Formação de Oficiais da Marinha Mercante entre 2007 e 2009. É oficial da reserva do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, formado pela Escola de Formação de Oficiais do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (1994).
