About the Journal

The Journal of the Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region is a biannual periodical aimed at publishing scientific articles with a special focus on Law applied to Federal Jurisdiction, without prejudice to themes relating to other branches of Law and related interdisciplinary Human Sciences. In addition, the Journal is the official repository of the case law of the Federal Court of Appeals for the 3rd Region, and therefore has sections for the publication of relevant judgments, decisions and sentences.

With the aim of ensuring greater timeliness in making research articles available, the Journal of the Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region adopts a continuous publication system. In this model, each article is published individually as soon as it is approved through a double-anonymous peer-review process and revision by the editorial team. Thus, throughout the year, new works will be integrated into the same volume as the editing process for each piece is finalized, without the need to wait for a specific periodicity to compose a complete issue.
